Acceptance
By installing or using Lensable you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the extension. If you are using Lensable for an organisation, you confirm you are able to accept these terms on its behalf.
What the service is
Lensable is a browser extension that lets you select part of a webpage and either search for matching products or ask an AI about what you selected. It also lets you save results and highlighted passages for later. Where following is available on your account, you can add topics yourself and Lensable will retrieve publicly available material about them and write short briefs from it.
It is a tool for finding and understanding things. It is not a shop, a broker or an authority. We do not sell the products it surfaces, we do not set their prices, and we do not control the sites it links to.
Accounts
You can try Lensable without an account. A paid plan requires one. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details and for keeping access to your account secure. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
Plans, quotas and billing
Plans are metered in visual searches. One visual search equals one product lookup or one question about a selection. Scanning a page and adjusting your selection is free.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the interval you chose until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from inside the extension and keep access until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for. See the refund policy.
Acceptable use
Do not use Lensable to:
- break the law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
- circumvent technical protection measures, including DRM;
- scrape at scale, resell access, or run automated bulk queries against the service;
- reverse engineer the service except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted;
- attempt to extract provider credentials or interfere with other users.
Third-party content and links
Results link to third-party retailers and sources. Their listings, prices, stock, and terms are theirs. We do not verify them, and a link is not a recommendation or a warranty. Some links may be affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure.
Intellectual property
Lensable, its name, mark and software remain ours. You keep whatever rights you already had in the content you select. We claim no ownership over your selections or your Saved Highlights.
Disclaimer
Lensable is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that product matches will be correct, that AI answers will be accurate, that prices shown will be honoured, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Topic briefs are written by a model from third-party sources and carry the same caveat: they may be incomplete, out of date, or misread the source they cite, and they are not a substitute for reading it. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Termination
You may stop using Lensable at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached in a way that harms the service or other users; where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
If we change these terms materially, we will notify you in the extension before the change takes effect.
